Look for words like "extra strong" or "extra strength". Special Condoms There are also a few condoms on the market that contain medical anesthetic. These do work quite well but the problem is that they also take away some of the feeling of touch and warmth from your penis.

I highly recommend that you experiment with other positions such as cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, from the side and more. Thicker Condoms If you are already practising safe sex then you should use the thickest condom that you can find. This will take the edge off your arousal and stop you tipping over after a couple of minutes.

This method is best used when you do not have direct eye contact with your partner e.g. during oral sex. Masturbation Before The Act This can be a good way to take the edge off your sensitivity before you have sex. Ideally, it should be performed about 30 minutes before sex but understandably this is not always possible.

Benzocaine This is an anesthetic chemical that is also used in the health profession. The best creams are the ones that contain this chemical. When you apply it, use a little at first. It should help you extend by a few minutes. If you apply too much then you will lose sensitivity temporarily. For instance, you will not be able to feel the warmth of your partner and you may even lose your erection.

Distraction This is one of the least satisfactory methods but at least it is free. By distracting yourself then you focus less on your feelings of arousal and therefore you do not tip over the edge very quickly.

Condoms These methods are especially good if you want to protect yourself from disease e.g. casual sex or a new partner. You can start by looking for the thickest condom that you can find. This will take the edge off your "hypersensitivity".
